Rally Day - Homecoming Sunday

This event kicks off the Sunday  School year and provides an opportunity for the parish to gather for food, fellowship, and fun.  A ministry  fair as well as games and activities for the children and youth make this a “must do” event.

Men's Fellowship

Men's Grill 'n Chill is a time when the men gather together for food and fellowship.  Much conversation and laughter happens around the grill.

Women's Fellowship

At the "Ladies’ Sip and Sample", the women of the church gather with their favorite beverages and snacks at the Family Life Center.    This is a special time of conversation and fellowship.

Women gather once a month for "Girls’ Night Out"  to enjoy good food and fellowship.  When attending this activity, be prepared to laugh… and eat dessert.

Women's Ministry Council

This group coordinates all the women’s groups.  The symbol for the council is a flower with each petal representing a different ministry.

Cursillo

Cursillo is a diocesan-based ministry held at Camp Weed.  It is a weekend retreat designed to renew one’s spirit.  Separate weekends are held for men and women.

Happening

Happening is a renewal weekend for high school aged young people.

The purpose of Happening in the Diocese of Florida is to renew the spiritual life of the high school students who attend in order that they may take their place in the ministry and leadership of the parishes and missions which sponsor them.

It is a weekend experience of fun, games, sharing, surprises, and most of all, a time of spiritual renewal and empowerment.

Everyone has a chance to meet in small groups to discuss and respond to a series of talks given by teenagers to teenagers. The talks deal with subjects such as Reality, Faith, Jesus Christ, Church and Prayer. It is a powerful encounter in which young people minister to young people, bringing Jesus Christ joyfully alive in a Eucharistic community of disciples.
