COOS FoundationPlanned GivingChurch of Our Saviour was founded in 1880 by a group of dedicated Christians. In the 125 plus years of our Parish, many former and current parishioners have given their time, talents and assets to make COOS the light to the world that it is. In 1994, the Parish Finance Committee approved the formation of an Endowment Fund. The Church of Our Saviour Foundation, Inc., the “Foundation” a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) corporation, has existed since that time. Through our Foundation we can work together to build a perpetual endowment to continue the good works, ministries, and provide for the capital needs (foreseen and unforeseen) of Church of Our Saviour. We are stewards of God’s bounty and for a brief period we are given time, energy, and resources. Of course there are tax benefits by contributing to the perpetual needs of our Parish, but the knowledge that one’s contribution is enhancing Christ’s kingdom on earth is always the primary goal. Please prayerfully consider leaving a legacy that will continue the next 125 years and beyond. If you have any questions, or would like to discuss ways you can participate, contact Pat Hubbard CFPâ, Planned Giving Chair, Clergy, Vestry, or your personal advisor. |
